About Me
Makara is an Asian-American living in the Seattle area in Washington state. Enrolled in the full International Baccalaureate diploma program, Makara works hard to prepare for her future as a law major. She considers herself as a very successful student in every aspect - academics, athletics, etc.
This teenage girl is an active member of her school's KEY Club, art club, and National Honor Society. Involvement in school and the community is important, so involvement in these clubs allow the opportunity to help the public through volunteer work and community service. In additon, she has a passion for tennis, though she does not consider herself a talented player due to her lack of experience. Her first time playing tennis was the girl's season in 2005. Her skills were not extraordinary, but she felt a new sense of freedom different from her uptight schedule, which gave her the determination to work harder. During mid-season, she advanced onto a varisty single's player. This is considered one of her more mentionable accomplishments.
Though people in her environment see her as an academically, and socially successful student, she is 3-dimensional beyond academics, community service, and athletics. Art plays an important role in her life in the sense that art allows her to express emotions, beliefs and messages that are hard to express in other forms. This site allows the public to view some of her artistic talents. Though she is no Picasso, Makara is proud of what she can do.
Makara hopes that you find this site enjoyable and worth returning to.
